Important Guidelines For Safari Zone Selection

There are in total 10 safari zones in Ranthambore National Park.
A zone will be allotted for a safari ride as per its availability.
While filling in the details for Ranthambore Safari Booking, you can either choose the zone from 1 to 7 or 8 to 10.
Visitors are not allowed to choose a specific zone to complete their Ranthambore online safari booking. In simple words, if you choose from zones 1 to 7 then safari will be allotted in any one of them and if you choose from zones 8 to 10 then safari will be allotted in any one of them.
If you're making a current booking then any zone can be allowed, from 1 to 10.

Ranthambore National Park offers the tourist to go inside this wild area on gypsy and canter safari. Only 2 kinds of safaris are allowed by the forest departed of Rajasthan to explore the area of Ranthambore National Park. You can choose the one that suits you best after knowing the information.

GYPSY SAFARI	CANTER SAFARI
1. These safaris are gypsies that are open from all sides and because of their compact size, they can go in the narrow paths of the jungle. They are best for exploring the deeper areas of the park.	1. These safaris are buses that are higher than the gypsy safaris and open from all sides. The canter safari in Ranthmabore are higher than gypsy and because of that, they give good views even from a distance.
2. These safaris can accommodate 6 passengers along with a guide and driver, they are best for small groups.	2. These safaris can accommodate 20 passengers along with a guide and driver, they are best for big groups.
3.Gypsy safaris can go inside all zones of this scenic park. You can make Ranthambore gypsy safari booking for all 10 zones.	3. Canter safaris can go inside most of the zones but you cannot make Ranthambore canter Safari booking for zones 7 and 8.
4. A total of 88 gypsies can enter the park at a time for each shift (morning and evening). Out of these, 58 gypsies are available for advance booking, while the remaining are reserved for Tatkal and special category bookings.	4. 52 canters are allowed per shift (morning and evening. This safari is booked only on a first-come, first-served basis. If you want to make a tatkal booking then it can only be booked if seats remain empty. It is booked on a sharing basis.
5. Gypsies are generally more costly than a canter safari if you book the whole for just yourself. They can be less costly if you book it on a sharing basis.	5. Canter safaris are best for people who want to enjoy the exploration of the park without breaking the bank. Each seat on this safari is booked on an individual basis.
6. Gypsies are shorter than canter safari and because of that, they offer a close view of animals.	6. Canter safaris allow people to observe wildlife comfortably from a distance without any issues.

Ranthambore Safari Booking Procedure

1. Open the website JungleRide.in
2. Select the date on which you need to enjoy a safari ride in Ranthambore. It is advised to the travelers to make Ranthambore safari booking 3 months before the arrival date.
3. Select the safari type, you can either choose a gypsy safari or a canter safari.
4. Select the zone in which you want to enjoy your ride. You can either choose from zones 1 to 7 or from zones 8 to 10.
5. Select the time slot, you can enjoy your ride in the morning or evening time.
6. Then you have to fill in the name of the person who is filling in the information for Ranthambore online safari booking.
7. Fill in your number and e-mail ID and then click on Submit Enquiry Button our representative will contact you for assistance .

Note: Bring your original IDs it will be checked when you reach there and every detail should match, failing which your booking can be cancelled.

Things To Remember for Memorable Safari

If you want to make your safari memorable then the most important thing is to come with your original identity card.
Before going inside the park, the government officials check your IDs, without them, you cannot enter the park.
Always listen to your guide and driver during the safari. They are knowledgeable and will keep you safe inside the wild area.
Try to stay silent or talk slowly if you are interested in spotting more animals during your canter or gypsy safari in Ranthambore. Animals get scared by human voices and they remain away. If you talk loudly, it can decrease the chances of spotting animals.
Using any kind of tape recorder, transistor, or radio is strictly prohibited inside this wild area.
Be inside your safari, don't try to get down from your vehicle, until and unless your guide tells you to do so.
Carrying pets is strictly prohibited. Carnivores can come near for hunting so do not come with your pets.
Make sure that your Ranthambore Safari Booking includes the guide because without them, you cannot enter the park.
It is important for the tourists to reach at gates 30 minutes before the ride.
